Curtis Gresswell, President
Since joining Alta in the early 1990’s, Curtis has helped build the Company into what it’s known for today – a respected supplier of high quality interconnect products and custom services. Originally starting his career in sales with an automotive parts supplier, Curtis began at Alta in the sales department and over time, learned the business and progressed to become the General Manager, then to the position he holds today. Throughout his career with Alta, Curtis has always focused on delivering and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by keeping an eye on price control and quality, while at the same time guiding the profitable growth of the Company.
Curtis co-manages daily operations of Alta with Peter Caulfield. This produces a unique management style that not many companies have and gives Alta a competitive edge because each brings different experiences, strengths and management styles. Both are focused on teaching Alta employees about the industry with the goal of continuing to elevate Alta to be an industry leader in the manufacture of interconnect products and custom services as well as customer satisfaction.
Peter Caulfield, Partner
Having worked in the high-tech sector for nearly 40 years of his career, Peter joined Alta in 2018 and brings extensive international experience in managing manufacturing facilities and creating and fostering teams that drive customer focused results. Peter is always looking to continually improve performance, keeping the team focused on customer-facing metrics including quality and delivery performance, time to market and custom services.
Like Curtis, Peter is a strong believer in transferring knowledge of the industry to the Alta team. He does this in part by cultivating and nurturing the production team and by creating an atmosphere within Alta of open collaboration and teamwork.
Sharon Nilsson, Controller
Sharon began her career in the retail sector as a planning manager, focusing on buying, forecasting, budgeting and planning. In 2001 she joined the Alta team as the Controller and since then has managed the Purchasing, Planning and Finance Departments. As part of the management team, Sharon contributes to Alta’s growth strategy and manages and monitors the achievement of goals through key performance indicators.
Additionally, Sharon is also focused on supporting good customer service and relationships. This is largely done by ensuring the right internal processes and controls are in place to facilitate a high level of integrity and compliance with regulations.
